“ This is my second visit to this fish and chip shop, and in my 33 years of life, I can honestly say it’s the best one I’ve ever been to, no joke. The fish and chips are freshly cooked to order. I don’t know what kind of oil they use, but it doesn’t leave me feeling ill or sluggish afterwards, unlike other chip shops. The portion sizes are generous and just right. Keep it up! P.S I wish I lived in this area and was easy to get to because I would come here a lot more often. ”

“ Excellent fish and chips. Maybe the best I've ever had in London. The food here is really good and the staff are warm and friendly. Parking is quite difficult due to the size of the parking area but there is usually parking available in the side streets adjacent to the shop. ”

“ Best Fish & Chips around! - Perfect service! I have picked up, and used Delivery services. The food Arrives piping hot, and packaged extremely well. The Manager even phoned me to double check the special instructions, & how to help improve from last time. We established that it was NOT their fault last time, but seems the delivery driver (not affiliated with them), may have helped themselves, given that much of it was opened, small, and not to their normal, generous, standards. The Manager was wonderful as always, and went above & beyond to ensure 100% satisfaction, & we are more than thrilled with our order! :) I will ALWAYS buy from here! Codman's you're never allowed to retire or close down! Lol. My family love your food! The atmosphere is fine, but not as outstanding as the food or service! If you could give 6 stars for the food, I would! ”

“ Just orderded from them last night and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and it's the best sausage in batter and fish cake we've had in a long time. It's taken ages to find a good local fish and chip shop and now we have one! ”

“ Just bought this today, the food is great quality, the fish is juicy and tender, the chips were not overcooked, not too oily, the mushy peas vere good to. I paid 14.3£ for a large cod, medium chips, a piece of mushy peas and 1 gherkin. If anything to complain, theres to much chips the portion is huge, and if you are greedy like me and eat it all in one go it will keep you full for the rest of the day. The lad at the counter prepared the order rather fast, i think i've been in and out in like 5-6 mins. I recommend you give it a try, personally i'd rather drop in person than order through the delivery apps, its cheaper and you can make up your mind on the order right then and there. Cheers! ”
